If you are planning to purchase a new or used electronic scale be sure it does not contain custom, non-standard factory settings. Many scales find their way to the used markets because they are of little value to any business. This is because many of our competitors sell scales that have been altered from factory settings. They use brand name scales, so don't be fooled. This practice is done to restrict the use of their scales to their software, thus locking you in!

Don't be fooled! We feel our shippers should have the freedom to configure their systems as they see fit. For this reason, every CPS package is designed to work with scales that use standard factory settings. Make sure this is the case when you purchase your electronic scale.

Looking for thermal printer Windows drivers?

BarTender Label Printing Software

In addition to making some great thermal printer drivers that work with CPS supported thermal printers, Seagull Scientific also makes BarTender Label Printing Software for all the other barcode labels you might need. Even though it is not required for CPS, the BarTender Label Printing Software is a great tool when you need to print more than just shipping labels.
