Support General Carrier Services

Overview

The General Carrier Services (GCS) is your fast and easy solution for shipping parcels via carriers not otherwise supported in CPS.  GCS can be used for shipping parcels via LTL carriers, local delivery services or even your own company's delivery trucks.  GCS is standard in all CPS packages.

Services Supported

GCS prints address labels for all your packages and can also record the actual carrier name, package or shipment weight, and any shipping charges.

GCS handles individual or multiple piece shipments with a single entry, automatically prints all the labels needed, and saves complete shipment information.

Shipping Labels and Documentation

CPS also prints document labels, custom labels and other user defined labels.  In fact, CPS can print multiple labels for each package processed.

CPS prints the following labels for GCS parcels and shipments:

Single and multiple piece thermal address labels Records shipping charges Documentation labels for internal use
