Job Description
Customer
Service Specialists provide
critical telephone technical support for all Harvey Software clients and
business partners that employ CPS™ shipping
software in their daily business activities. The Computerized Parcel
System or CPS is our nationally sold line of shipping software products.
Support includes, but is not limited to, over the phone setup
procedures, troubleshooting of CPS software and hardware installations,
training, systems analysis and integration with external applications
and databases. The ideal candidate is experienced in software
installation, troubleshooting, support and integration of advanced
business systems.
Major Responsibilities
-
Ability to provide excellent customer service in all
situations.
-
Ability to communicate technical information in a
non-technical format that our customers can understand for
troubleshooting and problem solving purposes.
-
The employee will be required to spend substantial
time on the telephone. Excellent telephone skills are essential in the
day-to-day tasks, along with the ability to keep calm in stressful
situations.
-
Receive, log and respond to customer incidents
reported via telephone and email queues.
-
Provide responses to technical inquiries which may
involve training a customer on compatibility, operation, installation,
parameter configuration issues or simply explaining the scope of a
service or product.
-
Help callers deploy solutions and verify that
problems are resolved. This may involve remotely connecting to the
caller's computer to assist them or take control of the system to
provide support.

Help document new scripts, FAQ's and technical tip
materials. Also contribute to Knowledge Bases.
-

Education and Experience

Software Sales Representative

Our Software Sales Representative will employ a consultative sales
process while seeking out new business, maintaining existing
relationships to continue recurring revenue, and working directly with

Job Description
This is an
inside software sales position. Employee will answer phone calls and
email, develop and qualify new potential leads and opportunities and
handle calls as needed. The employee will work closely with the sales
and marketing management for sales direction and will participate in
the development of marketing plans and strategies in order to maintain
and exceed personal and company sales quotas. Calling new prospects
and follow up calling of existing customers are an integral part of
this job. Job hours are Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 6 pm. Employee will
work within the sales team.
Major Responsibilities

Generate
new business leads, develop relationships, conduct market analysis,
cold calling, prospecting with potential clients and strengthening
relationships with existing clients.

Substantial time on the telephone will be required. Excellent
telephone skills are essential in the day-to-day tasks.

Educate
and market to clients the company’s products and services through
verbal and electronic communications.

Work with
our existing clients on up-sell opportunities and contract renewals.

Meet or
exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Accurately
forecast opportunities closing on a monthly basis using SugarCRM.

Develop
proposals and responses to ‘Requests for Proposals’ as required by
customers.

Quote and
prepare sales invoices and record orders in SugarCRM.

Arrange
demonstrations, implementations and training.

Coordinate
with support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely
delivery of product and service.

Provide
feedback from leads and customers about product features (existing
and suggested) and about customer service topics.

Maintain
confidentiality regarding company client lists, competitive
information and trade secrets and any other information the company
deems as confidential.

Harvey Software
is seeking a talented computer programmer for development, maintenance,
design and documentation of our nationally sold line of shipping
software. Our customers use our shipping software heavily and it is
often a mission critical application. All Applications Developers work
in Customer Service with our Customer Support Technicians for a solid
base in product training and understanding. Employee will work within
the development team at the direction of the Director of Development.
Major Responsibilities

Responsible for new product development, improvement,
design, documentation and testing in line with the company mission
